Hello All I am SO frustrated. I have been hosting with DailyRazor.com for the last say 2 years as I have been growing my website design business. I am up to 60+ hosted websites, and I know it’s time to move to a dedicated server, but it just takes a lot of time and money to get that transfer done that I just can never seem to find. DailyRazor.com hosting Sucks – I have gotten a bit smarted and have 2 packages on 2 servers yet everyday email is down (stuck) or the websites go down (cant access) but the big thing is I have one of site that uses a Webservice (coldfusion of course) and it goes down every 48 hours, they reset the CF Service and it works fine. They can never find a solution to this problem and it just Sucks. I have tried everything with these guys over the years, and there support response time is very fast, but I just need super reliable servers for both email, webhosting, and webservices (database) Can someone please help me and suggest a Windows based server with Plesk, MySQL5, CF8, that can handle multiple domains without breaking the bank because I am not a rich guy. Anyone else have trouble with DailyRazor? I have tried GoDaddy, but don’t have much luck with them, and I recently tried WebServe, but they could not get here act together to even get me FTP access to a single domain, and they respond in 24 hours which sucks and it no good. Or perhaps does someone have a dedicated server they would like to share access with, for a fee of course? I just need something stable, by business depends on it. Jamie Sirseth

I know the pain you have but I've been pain free for 5+ years since I left GoDaddy. I only manage 4 web sites, myself, so my needs may not be quite what yours are but I can honestly say I am 100% satisfied with their service. www.crystaltech.com. Research them of course, but if you do go with them, let them know I sent you. I'll send you my domain names in a private message if you go with CT. Just to be up front, I do get a referal credit but I think if you try them, you'll be happy. Cheers, Chip This message was edited by dlackey on 4-14-10 @ 11:23 AM

Also check the houseoffusion.com archives. The "reliable host.." question comes up frequently. So there are plenty of recommendations and experiences detailed in the archives. quote: Search the archives for them too. The general consensus is not good. In fact the 6th result from google right now is: nodaddy.com/ A non-profit site dedicated to exposing the serious problems with GoDaddy.

I've tried semi-dedicated hosting from both Crystaltech and hostek: https://www.crystaltech.com/semidedicated.aspx http://hostek.com/hosting/dedicated/coldfusion-shared-dedicated.asp I found hostek to be better than crystaltech, but nothing can beat your own vps or dedicated. I have a vps with hosting.com but it's too expensive for not enough RAM, so I'm in the process of migrating everything to viviotech.net You can get either CF or Railo hosting for reasonable rates. I dove headfirst into linux/Railo/Apache/Mysql even though most of my experience has been with windows/CF/IIS/MSSQL. I pay an extra $10/mo. for a 'managed' root vps which is a great deal. I still keep my email and DNS with hosting.com since they're support is 24x7. On my Railo VPS at viviotech.net I have virtually 100% uptime. Also, you say you're hosting 60 sites: 60 * $30/month = $1800 - you should be able to afford a REALLY nice server unless you're charging pennies for hosting. I just recently switched from fusionlink.com to hostek.com. Let me say I am overly impressed with hostek.

I've consistently received consistent service from YoHost. Brett and associates are CF specialists.

I looked at Hostek just now and seeing the pricing for the share hosting plans, I may switch a site or two over and see how they are. I've been using CrystalTech for so long and have been happy with their back-end setup, it would be hard to leave but if hostek is running the same setup and I can save a few bucks, why not. Cheers, Chip

on a side note, when I dropped fusionlink.com, I had to email their support. They didn't answer any of my trouble tickets. They don't have a way to stop their service. You can't delete your credit card info. So, finally after I emailed their support and threw a fit, they canceled my service. No response or anything, just canceled it which kinda makes me mad because I had already paid for the month. I'd really like a refund for my service that I didn't use for the month ><
