Hi I have been happily using CF 6 for many years (I have MX Studio). Suddenly I can no longer get into the CF Administrator and currently have this error message: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError I believe this to be to do with Java and have been experimenting with the JAVA_HOME and currently have this set to C:\Program File\Java\jre15.0_05 Also in C:\Program File\Java\ I have jrel1.6.0_05 and jre6. I may be very wide of the mark, but am totally out of my comfort zone here. I need help urgently as I have a small number of sites using Coldfusion and certainly cannot justify buying the latest version. I hope that you can help me out of this muddle. Kind regards Ronnie PS I have also posted this to the Oracle Forum, probably wrongly

Sounds like an old issue caused by an expired certificate. Support for version 6 was discontinued a while ago, so the KB article on it may have disappeared. The fix was to either install patch cfmx60jce.zip b) upgrade to 6.1. Unable to start Administrator Where can I download ColdFusion MX 6 or 6.1? This has solved my problem for the time being. I am very grateful. Thanks.
