I developed a mini application for my movie collection. It has two pages, one for the insert record and the second to display the records. They are both cfm files, but when I upload them onto my web space, i click on the link to the pages, but windows asks me if I want to open or save the page. How do I view the page like a normal html page?

The server most likely doesn't support CFM ring your provider or visit the website and ask if they do host Coldfusion, if they do, ask them if its on the package you have with them, if not, then you will have to upgrade, if yes, then they've made a big error in the fact that the mappings from IIS (im going to assume its IIS) and Coldfusion just aren't there. oh and remember, not all hosting companies do have CF because in reality, it is an expensive bit of kit and sometimes can be a specialist market OR just for the much bigger hosting solutions. due to the fact that there are probably not that many customers who would sign up for CF making their investment worthwhile. -------------------------------------------------------------- Installing & Configuring & Administering Windows XP Professional 070-270 Friday 1st August 10am --------------------------------------------------------------

Hey I know that company (cfm-resources.com) (After all, I was the originating founder of it.. hehe!) That's a good platform to start out with and very inexpensive... however if you move into a more "has to be 100% of the time" I suggest you move into either: www.Colony1.net or www.cfxhosting.com
Thanks, Pablo Varando
